Its performance is a reflection of a year of new client wins and office launches and expansions. It also saw a change of leadership when Camelot’s head of insight, Nick Bonney, took over as managing director in December 2016.

New clients to join its roster this year include Next, TK Maxx, Vue and Boden.

In 2016, it formed new partnerships with Mopinion and Spotfire as well as continuing to innovate with its proprietary 5Drivers model.

ABA expanded its Leeds operation, and opened a satellite office for London-based clients in Moorgate. Staff numbers reached 107, up 5% year-on-year.

Bonney said: “With strong financial performance backed by continued innovation and recognised through industry awards and great client feedback, our exceptional team has a lot to be proud of in the past 12 months’ performance. I’m delighted to say this performance has continued with an exceptional first quarter for 2017/18.”
