US— Technology firm 3M has signed up to use Webtrends’ Facebook Analytics service to track and measure comments on the fan page for its Post-It range of products.
3M said that Post-It has around 30,000 fans on Facebook, and by using the Webtrends technology it will be able to track and measure visitor interactions on the page to improve content and draw consumer insight.
Amy Lamparske, global social media strategy and operations leader at 3M, said: “We want better visibility into how this social network truly impacts our brand. To do that, we need a deeper understanding of our [Facebook] liker base, which Webtrends can provide.”
