Chime Insight and Engagement sees operating income rise

UK — Chime Communications has reported a 19% increase in annual operating income within the Chime Insight and Engagement (CIE) business, and a 29% rise in operating profit.

Operating income hit £9.1m, while operating profit was £2.8m, giving an operating profit margin of 31.2% – the highest in the group, which also consists of advertising and marketing services companies, PR agencies, healthcare communications firms, and sport and entertainment businesses.

CIE companies include Facts International, Naked Eye, Opinion Leader and Watermelon Research – the latter of which is responsible for much of the division’s growth, Chime said.
