UK — LivingLens, Sumo Insight and StashMetrics – three research technology startups – have secured seed investment from Collider, a business accelerator backed by a group of investors, including former Added Value CEO Mark Sherrington.
The trio were among 10 companies to share in Collider’s £1m investment scheme which, as well as investment, offers companies the chance to partner with major organisations like Unilever, Bauer Media and BBC Worldwide “to help create a product that is market-ready from the offset”.
LivingLens (which was previously featured on Researchhere) has built a platform for companies to capture, edit and share videos, and to store video in a text-searchable archive.
Sumo Insight, a mobile market research platform, was launched in November by former Nokia research and strategist Tina Newport and former EE technology marketeer Colin White.
And StashMetrics is a social media analysis firm that is currently in closed beta.
