US — Programmatic online video ad platform BrightRoll has reached an agreement to integrate Nielsen’s Online Campaign Ratings (OCR) into its campaign management and reporting console.
OCR was designed as a gross ratings point-equivalent system for web advertising, and several brands and agencies have started making guaranteed buys using the system.
BrightRoll CEO Tod Sacerdoti said: “With Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings data in the BrightRoll console, advertisers are finally able to validate the effectiveness of their digital video campaigns across online and TV in real-time.”
