BRAZIL— Software analytics firm DeskMetrics has received $200,000 in a round of seed funding from a group of investors, reports TechCrunch.
DeskMetrics was launched in October and provides analytics tools that allow software companies to see, in real time, how their products are being used.
The firm says its technology allows developers to “recognise trends, identify issues and opportunities, create a better product roadmap and increase conversions”.
Anonymous data about users and the software tools they are using is collected through a component in the analytics technology, providing information such as whether they have installed and then uninstalled an app.
