Game on for Gold and Losen’s pure-play online omnibus business
Gold (pictured top) says the firm will deliver 1,500 online completes from a nationally representative sample within two business days, for a cost of $750.
VeraQuest’s research is priced to compete aggressively with similar quick-turnaround omnibus services, such as the QuickQuery survey offered by Gold and Losen’s former employer.
Gold said VeraQuest can offer price savings because of a lack of substantial overheads and margin requirements. The company doesn’t own its own online panel, instead sourcing respondents through a partnership with an online panel company, though Gold would not disclose which one.
In terms of clients, Gold said VeraQuest would be looking to sidle up to companies working in public relations, and technology, CPG and banking verticals. Research agencies without their own omnibus offering are also target customers.
Gold spent 10 years at Harris Interactive, latterly as senior vice president of product solutions. He left the firm in March 2009 and recently spent six months heading up sales and marketing for VS Research in New Jersey.
He holds the title of CEO at VeraQuest. Losen (pictured bottom), a senior research director at Harris until November last year, is president of the new business.
