Zoomerang adds Facebook and Twitter options

US— MarketTools’ Zoomerang online survey tool will now let users post poll invites directly to their Facebook or Twitter accounts.

The Zoomerang interface, which distributes surveys via email, can now also post links automatically to a user’s Twitter or Facebook profile inviting their contacts to take part.

Zoomerang is available in free and paid-for versions, and is used by individuals as well as organisations. The firm said the new feature “provides another way for businesses and individuals to reach respondents where they interact online, improving response rates and decreasing the time it takes to gather feedback”. Business users can turn to their social media audience to get a quick pulse on new ideas, while individuals can now more easily survey their friends.

Carolyn Rae, general manager of radio station Mix FM, said: “A large number of our listeners, especially in the 18-34 age group, stay connected through Facebook and Twitter. The ability to easily send surveys, as well as survey results, via these channels can allow us to build relationships with our listeners.”
