BRAZIL – Advertising network WPP is planning to open its first campus in São Paulo, Brazil, housing the company’s businesses there in one location.
WPP has 26 agencies, employing around 7,000 people, in Brazil. Businesses owned by WPP operating in the country include DTI Digital, which offers technologies to support supply automation and data collection software, creative agency Mutato and comms company JeffreyGroup.
The project is part of WPP’s strategy to open 65 hubs globally by 2025. The company has recently opened similar campuses in Toronto, Prague, Milan, Detroit and London.
Plans for the São Paulo hub, based in Vila Leopoldina, started in 2019 and WPP aims to complete construction by the end of 2025.
Stefano Zunino, WPP’s country manager for Brazil, said: “The new campus is a milestone for WPP’s operations in Brazil. The space is designed to promote greater synergy and collaboration between our people, companies and the community, stimulating creativity and the development of innovative solutions for clients.”
