UK – WPP is leaving its London headquarters after 30 years following the departure of chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell earlier this year.
The company will stop leasing its head office in Farm Street, Mayfair, with staff moving to Sea Containers, the South Bank office already occupied by WPP agencies Ogilvy and Wavemaker.
Head office staff cover areas such as legal and finance.
WPP has had its headquarters based at the Farm Street offices since 1987, when the company acquired advertising agency JWT.
WPP declined to comment. The news of the office move was first reported by Campaign.
Sorrell left WPP in April, following an allegation of personal misconduct, returning to the advertising industry six weeks later with a new venture, S4 Capital.
