WPP invests in Celtra
WPP has taken a minority stake in digital advertising creative management platform, Celtra, in the US.
Its AdCreator platform allows for creating, producing, managing and distributing digital display ads and videos across multiple screens.
Alongside WPP, Unilever – already a client of its – has invested in the business in this round of financing worth $15 million.
Boston-based Celtra employs more than 160 people, has offices in Slovenia, New York, London, San Francisco and Sydney and counts Kargo, Netflix and Opera Mediaworks among its clients. It was founded in 2009.
WPP has invested $6.5m in Mic Network, a US-based digital news company and branded content creator.
