Worldcom OOH names MD for US and Canada and opens NYC office

US – Out of home (OOH) advertising Worldcom OOH has appointed Jonathan Mark as managing director for the US and Canada and opened a business centre in New York.

Mark (pictured) has prior experience at companies such as Time Inc, Centific, 5WPR and Grey, and will be tasked with leading Worldcom OOH’s expansion in the US and Canada in his new role.

The New York business centre adds to existing Worldcom OOH centres in Miami and Chciago, with plans for a new nosiness centre to be opened on the west coast of the US in the second half of this year and a launch into the Canadian market.

Fernando Vizcaíno, global general manager at Latcom and Worldcom, said: “We are pleased to welcome Jonathan Mark to the Worldcom OOH team, who will be responsible for continuing to strengthen our presence and performance in the US and Canada, the largest market in the global advertising industry, an absolute priority in our strategic plan.

“We are also excited to announce our new operation in New York, which joins the already established ones in Miami and Chicago. And very soon, we will also have our positions up and running on the west coast of the US, as well as in Canada.”
