Weave launched by ex-Incite trio
Weave will operate a ‘virtual office’ model and focus on FMCG, retail, travel and leisure, consumer health and the third sector.
The company has been founded by Ali Barnes, Alison Ratcliff and Philippa Mendoza, who have previously worked together at strategic research consultancy Incite.
Barnes, most recently an independent researcher, began her career at NOP Market Research and has specialised in the third sector, consumer health and travel and leisure in recent years.
Prior to working as a director at Incite, Ratcliff was global account director at Millward Brown and has held client-side positions with Johnson & Johnson and GSK. She specialises in brand health and communications.
Mendoza began her career in advertising at Publicis, later working as a management consultant. Her research experience at Incite and ABA Research includes continuous and ad hoc quantitative projects, primarily in retail and FMCG.
Mendoza said: “Our clients are working in a world of increased openness, increased collaboration and supply chain value-discovery. Research and insight must adapt – and Weave is adopting these principles.”
