Watermelon Research appoints Phil Corr as director
Corr (pictured) joins the business as director having previously worked for TNS UK, where he managed the online omnibus team and TNS New Zealand, where he was head of operations. He will help the agency with managing operations, leading teams to drive business growth and deploying unique online research techniques.
Also joining as consultants are Sophie Stanhope, who joins the firm from Toluna where she was a senior project executive and Wayne Laws who joins from ESA Retail where he focused on mystery shopping utilising online techniques.
The new joiners are part of a recent recruitment push by parent company Chime Insight and Engagement (CIE) group. In addition, Dani Verall joins the Opinion Leader team as senior research executive from Discovery Research and Kerry Barringer joins the Facts International operation based in Kent as a research executive. she joins from Turner Broadcasting Systems where she held the same position.
Crispin Beale, chief executive of CIE, said: “These latest appointments show the high levels of commercial growth that the Group continues to drive. The reputation that CIE has built over the past few years has helped with the expansion of our business, which has, in turn, resulted in a significant rise in our position in the industry insight leagues tables.”
