UK – Research technology company Walr has appointed Ben Walton as its inaugural chief commercial officer.
Walton (pictured) joins with over 20 years’ experience in market research, most recently as chief commercial officer at System1 Research.
Prior to this, Walton spent eight years at GfK, where he had global responsibility for the creation and implementation of the go-to-market strategy for GfK’s artificial intelligence (AI)-based prescriptive analytics solution.
The appointment follows 18 months of rapid expansion for Walr, growing to 70 employees since launching in 2020 and acquiring Norwegian technology company QuenchTec in 2021.
