This means Nielsen Brandbank will be an official provider for Walmart and will be investing in on-site presence gaining access to Walmart’s processes to help with content strategy and quality control.

Walmart’s Connected Content Partner Program will launch in January 2019 and is designed to strengthen the retailer’s online presence by improving content quality, customer experience, cost efficiencies and overall online effectiveness across its omnichannel platforms.

Raymond D'Aprile, commercial director North America at Nielsen Brandbank, said: "We are well positioned to help Walmart’s FMCG suppliers navigate the changing landscape of online and mobile shopping. As Walmart makes its transition from a bricks and mortar retailer to a true omnichannel commerce destination, our team of data specialists, product photographers and quality assurance managers will produce quality digital content to accurately represent grocery products and brands."
