Wakoopa merges into Netquest

SPAIN — Online data collection specialist Netquest and Holland-based Wakoopa have joined forces so that Wakoopa will become a fully owned subsidiary of Netquest.

Both companies will remain separate entities, with their own clients and core products, but will also work together where appropriate. By joining forces they said they can integrate online panel expertise with metering technology.

Netquest was founded in Barcelona in 2001, and provides online panels for Latin America, Spain and Portugal. Wakoopa, founded in Amsterdam in 2007, develops white-label passive measurement technology that can track a respondent’s full digital footprint on desktop, smartphone and tablet.
