Vision Critical opens new office in Japan

JAPAN — Vision Critical has opened its 14th global office, in Tokyo. It will be headed by Shigeru Kishikawa. the CEO of MROC Japan, who will become Vision Critical managing director, Japan.

Kishikawa (pictured) is a former CEO of social researchers Experidge and was an associate director of Synovate Japan for five years. Prior to this, he worked clientside for tobacco firm Philip Morris International and Hill’s Pet Nutrition as a research manager in both companies.

He said: “The adoption of online communities in Japan continues to evolve into larger, quantitative- and qualitative-based community panels. With Vision Critical community panel platform and experience, we are well positioned to support the continuation of this evolution for the domestic and international business needs of Japanese clients.”

The company says its Tokyo office will strengthen its early success in Asia and directly assist Japanese partners and clients with creating and running effective community panels.
