CANADA — Vision Critical has appointed former Varicent finance chief Donna de Winter as its new CFO, moving incumbent Gord Baizley to chief strategy officer.
De Winter has held financial roles at a number of different technology companies. Most recently she led the sale of Varicent, an incentive compensation and sales performance management software company, to IBM.
Before that she was CFO and CEO at corporate training provider Nexient Learning. That business was also sold – to Global Knowledge in 2009.
Vision Critical CEO Scott Miller said that with the online community and survey software company continuing on its “high growth path, it’s extremely important to have world-class leadership to drive and expand our business”.
De Winter will manage all areas of finance, accounting, infrastructure and stakeholder relations.
