UK— Social media monitoring firm Visible Technologies has opened a new office in London to spearhead its expansion into Europe.
The firm has recruited Craig Gordon (pictured) as managing director for EMEA to lead the European expansion, and he will be supported by UK head of sales and business development Andrew Grill.
Gordon was most recently at Redwood Software where he was managing director for the UK, Nordics and Southern Europe. Before his time at Redwood, Gordon was European managing director of email management firm Talisma.
Visible Technologies CEO Dan Vetras said: “We have seen tremendous momentum for our solutions in the US and recognise the significant opportunity in Europe to help companies build their brand online by monitoring and engaging with social media conversations.”
The European expansion is being paid for with part of the $22m in private equity funding Visible Technologies received in January this year.
