AUSTRALIA— Former Essential Research executive Alex Vishney has joined Vivid Research in Sydney to head the agency’s quantitative offer.
Vishney recently returned to Australia following a stint working in the UK, first as a research manager at mobile phone network O2, then as a research team leader at satellite broadcaster BSkyB.
He switched agencyside in 2007, becoming head of quantitative research at media specialist Essential Research.
At Vivid, Vishney has been responsible for establishing the qualitative firm’s quant offer. Clients of the agency include telecoms firm Telstra, mining firm Rio Tinto, The Australian Museum, Nestle and Unilever.
