AUSTRALIA – Culture, community panels and digital research business Verve has increased its presence in Australia with two new hires and a new hub in Melbourne.
Christina Tonkes (pictured) has been appointed as senior director and will head the Melbourne Hub.
Before joining Verve, Tonkes was at Hall & Partners as group strategy director for two years in the firm’s London office and had most recently been running a freelancing business in Australia.
Mirjam Grari has joined the Sydney team as associate director of futures and innovation, and will be in charge of bringing Verve’s universal cultural values framework Ignite@Verve to Australia.
Prior to her appointment at Verve, Grari was senior consultant at Kantar and was previously based in Stockholm at brand development company Grow and advertising services firm Nine.
Rikki Pearce, managing director at Verve Australia, said: “Attracting the best talent is a key priority for Verve.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the Christina and Mirjam to the Australian team as we continue to build our distinctive offering in the Australian market.”
