US – Cross-device audience measurement company Verto Analytics has appointed Michael Read as UK managing director and Alison Murdock as senior vice-president, marketing.
Read (pictured) joins from comScore where he was senior vice-president and managing director for the UK and Europe. He opened its UK office in 2003 and built its EMEA sales organisation. Read also sits on the board of IAB Europe.
At Verto he will be responsible for growing its new London office and leading all UK sales and operations.
Meanwhile, Murdock joins from 6sense, where she was vice-president of marketing and she’s also worked at tech media company, Gigaom. She will be responsible for leading Verto Analytics’ global brand strategy, marketing and comms and will be based in its San Francisco office.
Both Read and Murdock will sit on the executive management team and report to directly to CEO, Hannu Verkasalo.
