uSamp unveils self-service panel platform

US— Online panel provider uSamp has announced the launch of an automated self-service platform that gives research agencies access to its panel of US respondents.

The new SampleMarket 2.0 service will be launched in beta mode in December, a move that uSamp described as “the next step along an evolutionary path to fully automated delivery of market research samples”.

uSamp said that agencies signing up to the service will be able to create and manage online projects through the tool without “the need to pick up a phone or send an email”.

The firm also plans to launch a smartphone version of the system in the first quarter of 2011, allowing users to log in and check on the progress of projects through their phones.

Matt Dusig (pictured), the firm’s co-founder and CEO, said: “With SampleMarket 2.0 we’re providing a full-service approach to self-service. Market researchers will experience greater efficiency and time savings, gain unprecedented control and transparency over their sample, enjoying easy and direct access to their projects through one centralised platform.”
