US internet ad revenues up 16%
The latest quarterly figures, from the first three months of 2015, showed internet revenues had reached $13.3bn, a 16% increase on the Q1 2014 total of $11.4bn.
“Digital screens are an indisputable part of consumers’ lives,” said Randall Rothenberg, president and CEO, IAB.
“In turn, interactive is taking on an even more vital role in today’s marketing mix – and these historic figures confirm its growing importance.”
The report was produced by the IAB and consulting firm PwC from data supplied by companies selling advertising on the internet.
