North America People

US— Outsourcing firm Ugam Research Solutions has bolstered its US presence with new hires in the areas of account management, project management and business development.

A new account management and business development team has been appointed to support Russell Britt, the company’s senior vice president of sales and marketing in North America.

The team comprises Travis Bohenek in Boston, Marcus Turner in Portland, Tara Sharp in Phoenix, Danielle Cupello in Rochester and Duane Joseph in New York.

Meanwhile Cara Longo joins from Harris Interactive, where she was vice president of operations, to lead Ugam’s project management and operations team.

Longo and her team are based out of the company’s Rochester, New York, office.

Ugam co-founder and chief marketing officer Madhav Mirani (pictured) said the appointments would help the firm pursue more business with small and medium-sized research companies in the US market, while offering increased onshore project management services “for faster turnaround and efficiencies”.

“I am confident that, under Russell and Cara’s strong leadership, the new team will be able to boost our North America initiatives and bring more value and cost efficiencies to our clients,” said Mirani.
