UK— The Broadcasters Audience Research Board (Barb) has appointed Joe Lewis as its new research manager following the promotion of Simon Bolus to research director earlier this year.
Lewis joins the TV audience measurement body from GfK NOP Media where he was associate director. He previously had a five-year spell with AGB Nielsen Media Research as research manager.
Before that Lewis worked for the Office for National Statistics as an economic statistics analyst and household sector account production manager.
Bolus said of his successor: “Joe is a highly numerate researcher specialising in audience measurement, reporting and analysis and has a strong client-handling ability which will be a valuable contribution to our work in ensuring an effective dialogue with our stakeholders.”
