Tru Optik appoints Kosinski as sales VP

US – TV audience intelligence and data management platform Tru Optik has hired Richard Kosinski as executive vice-president of sales.

Kosinski has more than 20 years’ experience in sales and business development roles in digital media and ad tech and was most recently managing director of Blue Ocean Partnership. He has also been president and chief revenue officer of Receptiv, an in-app mobile video company bought by Verve last year. Other roles have included US president of Unruly and stints at Quantcast, Westwood One, Dow Jones and Yahoo!. 

At Tru Optik he will be responsible for building its revenues, partnerships and global expansion.

Frans Vermeulen, COO of Tru Optik, said: “Richard’s vast experience and thorough understanding of the media and data value chain will be instrumental in his role leading Tru Optik’s sales team.

“He will develop revenue strategies to grow our client sales and partnership efforts with agencies, brands, ad networks, programmatic platforms and Enterprise TV content producers in the US and abroad.”
