Tru Optik launches connected TV compliance tool
Publishers, ad tech platforms, data providers and device manufacturers will be able to use the tool to allow over-the-top consumers to opt out of advertising and provide data transparency.
A beta version of Privacy.TV will launch in the fourth quarter of 2019 and it will be commercially available next year.
The tool has been developed ahead of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) coming into effect in January.
Jonathan Bokor, chief privacy and business affairs officer at Tru Optik, said: “Our Privacy.TV solution will enable publishers, agencies, ad tech platforms and content providers to comply with their opt-out obligations under CCPA with respect to CTV and will integrate well with their overall CCPA compliance and consumer privacy initiatives.”
