Touchstone launches watermark for research content

US – Consumer insights business Touchstone Research has produced a visual and forensic watermarking tool for protecting client content online.

Secure Content Testing (SCT) will apply a unique visual and forensic watermark to marketing research and consumer insights content that is being tested in an online study.

The watermark is non-removable and was created to act as a deterrent to unauthorised sharing of intellectual property.

SCT works across smartphones, tablets and computers, and can be applied to videos, images, storyboards, animatics, concepts and documents.

Aaron Burch, chief executive at Touchstone Research, said: “Now more than ever our clients require the ability to test content & intellectual property online, however, this must be done in a way that can give them peace of mind that their content will not be compromised or leaked.

“We are extremely happy to be able to offer this new service for companies who are looking to take the additional step of protecting their content from piracy and leakage in their marketing research studies.”
