POLAND— TNS is to merge its two Polish entities, TNS OBOP (Osrodek Badania Opinii Publicznej) and TNS Pentor, into a single business in early 2012.
Piotr Kwiatkowski (pictured), currently managing director at TNS Pentor, will lead the new company with support from deputy MD Andrzej Olszewski – currently managing director at TNS OBOP.
The consolidation of Polish operations follows news that TNS had upped its stake in TNS OBOP from 60% to 100%, buying the remainder of the firm’s shares from Poland’s public broadcasting corporation Telewizja Polska (TVP).
