Tim Britton exits YouGov

UK — Tim Britton, YouGov’s UK CEO has left the company after seven years with the company, it is not known where he is moving to.

In a brief statement the company said that Britton had decided that after seven years, covering a number of roles within YouGov, the time was right to move on to pursue the next stage of his career.

Britton joined YouGov in February 2008 as UK managing director before moving on to be chief operating officer for EMEA in 2011. Prior to joining YouGov, he was at IFF Research for seven years.

Britton said: “I have hugely enjoyed my time at YouGov, it is a great company, with a clear strategy and fantastic people. I wish the company every future success, which I am sure it will enjoy”.

Stephan Shakespeare, co-founder and CEO said: “Tim has been an integral part of our growth and while we are sad to see him go, we wish him the very best of luck for the future.”

Alex McIntosh, chief strategy officer at YouGov will become interim CEO. He has been with the company for eight years.
