The Trade Desk and Semasio partner on semantic targeting
Semasio uses natural language processing to analyse the semantics of website content. The company’s unified semantic targeting combines data on audiences’ content consumption with their interests.
Through the deal, clients using The Trade Desk technology will have access to semantic insights to inform targeting decisions when planning marketing campaigns.
Christian Walter, director of data partnerships at The Trade Desk, said: "Semasio provides advertisers with valuable insights and thus the security of optimally reaching the desired target group in various subject areas. The relationship between user data and environments for targeting can be combined in such a way that lessens a dependence on cookies."
