The Sound Research launches focus group tool

North America Technology

CANADA — The Sound Research has launched a face-to-face qualitative research tool that allows engagement and observation of focus groups in multiple geographic locations at the same time.

According to the strategic research and branding consultancy, The Sound Vision tool offers brands a more cost and time effective group option for recruiting and accessing consumers in their own environment.

The tool allows the moderator and respondents to see and hear one another via webcams with whiteboard functionality so that respondents can draw, post images or respond to stimuli such as videos in real time.

The Sound Research’s president Ian Pierpoint said: “We set out to create an online face-to-face research tool that would connect our clients to their consumers in a convenient, comfortable and engaging virtual environment.”
