US— Harriet Kozak has been appointed US president at pharmaceutical research agency The Research Partnership.

Kozak (pictured) has spent more than 25 years working in the healthcare sector, beginning with stints in the research divisions at Johnson & Johnson and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

After her time on the clientside, she moved to GfK Healthcare where she was a vice president before moving to her most recent role at Adelphi International Research, where she was vice president of commercial development.

She is also a former president of industry body the Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence & Research Group.

Mary Assimakopoulos, one of The Research Partnership’s founding directors, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Harriet to the team as she brings with her a wealth of expertise in bespoke pharma research, combined with an excellent track record for delivering actionable data and insightful consultancy. Our US office continues to go from strength to strength and we have ambitious plans for the future, so Harriet is certainly joining us at an opportune time.”

Kozak replaces Ajit Baid who left the firm in late-2009 to join Roger Green & Associates.
