Tech veteran Nugent named Mzinga CEO
Nugent (pictured), who has served as an adviser to the company over the course of the last year, was previously executive vice president and chief technology officer at CA Technologies. Earlier in his career he had a spell as SVP and CTO at Novell, MunichRe/AmericanRe and Xerox.
The role of CEO was previously held by Mzinga co-founder Barry Libert who remains chairman.
Libert said: “Al is a great addition to our leadership team and I couldn’t be happier that he’ll be the person leading Mzinga into the future. Al is not only a well-respected technology executive, but he also has the proven ability to generate financial, operational and business results. I’m confident that his leadership will deliver a new era of growth and innovation for the company, our customers, employees and partners.”
