TCS Media announces change of ownership

UK – Independent media planning and buying agency TCS Media has been sold in a management buyout.

Founded in 1977, TCS Media’s clients include Laura Ashley, Sudocrem and AGA Rangemaster. The agency claims billings of £40m.

The agency’s new ownership team will consist of managing director David Price, director of digital Ciaran Deering, and financial director Sean Guthrie.

Price said: “We are very lucky and privileged to have been part of the agency’s long-term commitment to succession management and now look forward to future-proofing the agency’s offering for a new generation of leaders.”

Peter Smith, previous co-owner, remains on the board of the company as executive director.
