IRELAND — Television Audience Measurement (TAM) Ireland has commissioned social analytics firm Colourtext to work out the percentage of Irish tweets that are about TV.
Colourtext plans to collect “nearly every tweet” authored in the Republic of Ireland over a full calendar month – an estimated nine million of them.
“We expect to learn a lot about the impact TV makes on social conversations throughout the day, as well as the shows and genres that stimulate most second-screen activity,” said Colourtext founder Jason Brownlee.
Results will be published in June.
