UK – Advertising effectiveness business System1 has created an audio advertising analysis tool as part of its Test Your Ad platform.
Test Your Ad Audio will help users predict the short and long-term commercial impact of audio adverts running on radio and streaming services such as music streaming platforms and podcasts.
The platform measures listeners’ emotional responses and assigns a star rating to each advert of between one and 5.9 stars, based on the adverts’ ability to drive growth in market share.
The Test Your Ad platform already services video and static creative work, and the new audio function will allow users to upload MP3s to test commercials in either draft or finished formats.
In addition to an overall star rating, the platforms also includes a ‘spike rating’ indicating the advertisement’s short-term sales potential and a ‘fluency rating’ showing the level of brand recognition.
Jon Evans, chief customer officer at System1, said: “Radio continues to be a wide-reaching channel, and podcast and music streaming apps are attracting an increasing number of listeners.
“Test Your Ad Audio gives advertisers a quick and clear way to understand whether their messaging will support brand building.”
