Synovate appoints Jessica Liu to China media role

CHINA— Jessica Liu has been appointed research director of Synovate’s media business in Beijing.

Liu (pictured) was most recently the research director of Ipsos MediaCT Greater China and before that was vice-general manager of research and consulting agency Sinomonitor.

She has spent 12 years in the industry and will focus on developing Synovate’s media research activities in China in the newly created role.

Darryl Andrew, Synovate’s CEO for China, said: “Jessica’s experience spans magazines, newspapers, out-of-home, internet research and, of course, the ubiquitous TV arena. She has a wealth of exposure with consumer behaviour and attitude research and brand studies.”
