SurveyMonkey expands exec team

US – Survey software company SurveyMonkey and hired three new vice-presidents – DuVal Hicks for sales operations; Lara Sasken Lindenbaum for communications; and Denis Scott for growth marketing.

All the executives will work on the company’s next phase of growth and expansion and follows SurveyMonkey’s recent appointment of Debbie Clifford as chief financial officer.

Hicks was previously senior director of sales strategy and execution at Informatica and before that spent 17 years in numerous sales leadership roles at Hitachi Data Systems.

Sasken Lindenbaum joins SurveyMonkey from Facebook, where she was corporate communications director. Prior to Facebook, she was senior director of communications at GoPro. 

Scott will lead the expansion of SurveyMonkey’s self-serve business, focusing on user acquisition, engagement and retention. He joins the team from Lyft, where he was the vice-president of product marketing. He has also worked at OpenTable, Gap and The Clorox Company.

Zander Lurie, chief executive officer at SurveyMonkey, said: “DuVal, Lara and Denis each bring nearly 20 years of experience in their respective fields and proven leadership managing successful teams. All three will play a critical role in SurveyMonkey’s key priorities – scaling our enterprise sales go-to-market strategy, strengthening our self-service business, growing our international presence, and informing current and future customers about SurveyMonkey.”
