US – Survey software company SurveyMonkey grew its revenue by 21% in 2019, the company reported in its full year financial results.
SurveyMonkey’s revenue for the year ended 31st December was $307.4m. Enterprise sales revenue accounted for around 21% of total revenue, up from approximately 12% in 2018.
Revenue in the fourth quarter of the year was $84.3m, up 24% year-on-year, and the company had 6,578 enterprise customers at the end of 2019 – an increase of 84% from 3,566 at the end of the year before.
In 2019, SurveyMonkey acquired customer experience company GetFeedback and voice-of-the-customer company Usabilla, and launched a European data centre in Dublin.
Zander Lurie, chief executive at SurveyMonkey (pictured), described 2019 as a ‘banner year’ for the company, and added: “Our disciplined investments enabled us to deliver 17% unlevered free cash flow margin in conjunction with our accelerated revenue growth. I’ve never been more excited about the opportunity ahead.”
