INDIA— Chinese social media researcher SinoTech is to offer its tools in India through a partnership with Bangalore-based Stratburg Market Research and Consulting.
Stratburg will sell SinoTech’s SIP:Enterprise social media monitoring product to Indian companies.
SinoTech’s CEO and founder Mathew McDougall said: “India is just one territory that can’t be ignored, and given our social intelligence technology crosses most internet languages and covers more than 120 million sites, we see this partnership as giving us the ability to reach new customers and take our solutions into a new range of sectors.”
Gappan Annamalai, CEO of Stratburg, said: “Indian brands need to recognise that they are already being ‘talked about’ online and more importantly the failure to understand this may result in brand damage or, worse, the loss of sales and customers.”
