UK — Print services and research group St Ives has struck a deal to acquire marketing and technology consultancy Amaze.
St Ives will pay £15.3m in cash to Amaze’s current owner Hasgrove – with a further £9m to come depending on performance.
The consultancy will run as a subsidiary of St Ives with the existing management team remaining at the helm, including CEO Natalie Gross and COO Wendy Stonefield.
The planned purchase of Amaze is part of St Ives’ stated goal of bringing a complementary range of digital and marketing services within the group. Last year it bought research consultancy Incite Marketing Planning.
St Ives chief executive Patrick Martell (pictured) said: “The acquisition of Amaze creates the foundation for an additional pillar of our marketing services strategy. Further acquisitions will be focused on building out these pillars to further strengthen our integrated marketing services offering.”
