UK— St Ives, the owner of research consultancy Incite Marketing Planning, has told investors in a management statement today that its marketing services section is performing “significantly” better than last year.
The marketing services and print group said in an interim management statement that for the period from July 28 to today, marketing services’ revenue and operating profit were “significantly ahead” of the same period last year.
St Ives said that all its recent acquisitions, including the £17m purchase of Incite in February this year, had been “integrated well” and were winning new business at an individual level.
On the print side of the business, St Ives said that conditions remained “challenging”, but despite the expected drop in revenue the firm said that margins had improved.
The firm said: “The new financial year has started well, the balance sheet remains strong and we remain confident that further progress will be made as we continue to execute our strategy.”
