US— Panel provider Survey Sampling International has promoted Chris DeAngelis to lead its new heathcare offering, SSI Health.
The new division aims to offer clients in the health sector access to patients, caregivers, physicians and allied health professionals such as nurses, pharmacists, dentists and chiropractors.
Clients will be able to reach respondents via the internet, landline phones, mobile phones and address-based sampling, SSI said.
DeAngelis joined the firm in 1986 as account executive and was moved up to senior account executive in 1991, becoming national sales manager in 1997 and VP of North American sales in 2003.
Mark Hardy, SSI’s managing director for the Americas, said: “Chris acts as a true partner to his customers, supporting them in creating the most effective sampling and survey designs. His extensive experience across multiple industries, including healthcare, coupled with his deep understanding of sampling science make him the ideal candidate to lead SSI Health.”
