ITALY – Havas Media Group has appointed Stefano Spadini as CEO in Italy. His remit will now cover Havas Media, Arena Media and Havas Sports & Entertainment.
It is just over a year since Spadini (pictured) was made CEO of Havas Media and his promotion to overseeing the whole of the group comes following a number of business wins including AXA, EA, Secret Escapes and JDE.
Spadini will report to Dario Mezzano, CEO of Havas Worldwide Italy and chairman of Havas Village Italy. Havas Group is reorganising into Havas Village, to better integrate creative and media.
He is taking over from Isabelle Harvie-Watt, CEO and country manager of Havas Media Group Italy, and global CEO of LuxHub, who is leaving the company.
Prior to joining Havas, Spadini spent 17 years working across media and creative agencies in London and Milan, including Starcom, Vizeum and Mindshare.
