Peoples (pictured) joins the company from Ebay, where he was head of global customer marketing, leading a team of marketers, data scientists, user experience designers and engineers.

Based in Skyscanner’s London office, Peoples will lead its global marketing strategy and be responsible for increasing customer retention and acquisition. He reports to chief operating officer Kris Beyens.

Prior to Ebay, Peoples held senior roles at Graze, Virgin Experience Days and Expedia.

Beyens said: “We’re pleased to have Clive, an established leader in travel and e-commerce marketing, join Skyscanner. He brings with him a depth of experience in digital product marketing and is passionate about transforming the traveller experience through a customer-centric vision.

“Supported by a strong team of marketing leaders, Clive’s focus will be on driving growth through new customer acquisition and loyalty.”
