Skyflow raises $45m in Series B funding

US – Customer data privacy business Skyflow has generated $45m in a Series B funding round led by private equity and venture capital firm Insight Partners.

Plant growing from money jar

The latest funding round means that Skyflow has raised $70m in the last 18 months, and will use the money to invest in the company’s expansion.

Skyflow said it would grow its sales, marketing and engineering teams and plans to hire 100 new employees by the end of 2022.

Investors in the funding round included venture firm Mouro Capital, trading group Mitsui’s venture capital arm MS&AD Ventures, and existing investors Canvas Ventures and Foundation Capital.

Skyflow focuses on simplifying how companies access, manage and govern sensitive customer data in line with existing privacy laws, and has in recent years expanded across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and in Asia-Pacific.

George Mathew, managing director at Insight Partners, said: “This is the kind of category-creating company we love investing in.”
