Sisense merges with Periscope Data
The merger will allow the companies to launch a unified business intelligence and analytics platform, and creates a combined company with 700 data and analytics staff globally.
Adding San Francisco-based Periscope Data also improves Sisense’s offer for data engineers and data scientists.
The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
Sisense secured $80m in investment in September. The company is headquartered in New York, with offices in Tel Aviv, Kiev, Tokyo and Arizona.
Amir Orad, chief executive of Sisense, wrote in a statement: "Sisense, combined with the technology, team, and values of Periscope Data, provides the industry’s most powerful solution for the builders of analytic apps that will help businesses succeed in data transformation."
